Our Services
Supported Independent Living
Supported independent living is core support for people with higher support needs, who need some level of help at home all the time. This means you need a significant amount of help throughout the day, 7 days a week. This includes overnight support. The support can be provided in a shared home as well. On the other hand, Supported independent living funding can’t be used for things like rent or other day-to-day expenses like groceries.
Participants who receive supported independent living also have funding for a support coordinator. The support coordinator will help you find a provider to develop a roster of care submission with you. If you do not have funding for support coordination, you can look at our Support coordination services.
Community Access
Community access plays a vital role in enhancing the independence and quality of life for individuals within our care. By promoting participation in local activities, individuals can build meaningful connections and develop essential social skills. These interactions not only foster a sense of belonging but also encourage growth and learning, enabling individuals to navigate their environments with confidence.
By embracing these opportunities, we empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives as active members of their communities. This is a funded support category that you will find in your NDIS plan, under Core Supports.
Participation in community activities includes meeting people with common interests. It means participating in activities you enjoy while also exploring new interests. Our team regularly interacts with you to determine which community-based activities are of most interest to you. From there, our experts will take the lead in researching the most effective ways to achieve your desired NDIS goals.
